We are delighted to welcome you into the unique community which is Ludlow Junior School. We aim to provide the very best for our children and to build a community identity which is strong and resilient. We want every family to feel valued and important and for the children to be in a school which is safe, secure and nurturing.
Although we are a large school we still understand the value of getting to know every child as an individual and to find out what they enjoy doing, their talents and hobbies and what makes them special. Our staff pride themselves on getting to know the children and their families really well and this shines through in each class and in extra curricular activities too.
We aim to provide a rich and varied experience during your child’s time with us and we have a strong reputation in areas such as competitive sport, sportsmanship, music (vocal and instrumental), the arts and in supporting charitable causes.
Finally, we like to take every opportunity to meet you, as you are a very important part of our community. To this end, senior staff will be on the playground every morning and all staff come onto the playground at the end of the day. Parent consultation evenings and curriculum evenings are always well attended and our Christmas events will often see more than 2000 people visit our school to celebrate the festivities.
We hope that you are proud to be joining a community which is constantly striving to be the very best it can be.
