The best way to support your child with grammar and punctuation is to talk about it in an everyday context.
- Whilst reading with your child, pause to consider the effect of the punctuation in a sentence.
- Ask your child to be your teacher! Which grammatical skill have they been learning about, can they teach you how to use it and why?
- Look for funny examples of grammar/punctuation gone wrong e.g.
