As part of Walk to School Week, Ludlow’s school councillors planned and organised a fantastic Eco-day to raise awareness of the current issues facing our environment. The councillors chose different topics for each year group to focus on and then planned the lessons themselves to deliver to their class.

Year 3 researched different ways to help the environment, year 4 took surveys focusing on travel to school, year 5 researched into reusable energy and year 6 learnt about the global effects of pollution. 

Not only this, but the children created some reusable masterpieces using junk modelling to emphasise the importance of reusing items. What a great day!
