Year 4

DT Project - Catapults

In Year 4, children have been working very hard to design and make a catapult, fit for a Viking. They researched how catapults work, and looked at various different designs.  They measured their wood then, using a saw, cut the wood to the right length.  They glued their base, and using glue masking tape they fixed their structure.  The children are very pleased with their finished products, and loved seeing how far they could make things fly in the playground!
